No one can take away from you what you have deposited within–it is your own internal account and it works best when you keep the account full.
Making infrequent deposits will eventually result in a depleted account.
The healthier the account the better you feel.
You will benefit from a bigger cushion.
The hits you take in life won’t feel quite so devastating.
Deposit by taking time for yourself, getting enough rest, saying no more often. Eating healthy, drinking lightly, loving well but not in a sacrificial way.
Withdraw from the account by losing yourself in relationships with others, saying yes when it would be in your best interests to say no; eating poorly, drinking too much, skimping on rest, viewing others as more than you–smarter, more valuable, more of something that you see yourself as not being or having enough of.
Make a conscious effort to add to your account even if you feel you don’t have enough time to do so. Add to the account even if it means saying no to someone you fear; someone you feel you must give your power away to. Especially then you must add to your account. There is no one else who can add to your internal account, you alone are responsible for doing so.
